HELP FIND MISSING WOMAN IN POCOMOKE
Christine Sheddy has been missing from our area since November 13, 2007.
We just heard that the body of a woman has been found in the woods off Cedar Hall Road by a hunter checking his traps and local law enforcement reports that it is not her.
A reward is being offered for information that leads to finding Christine Marie Sheddy, who has been missing since last month. Sheddy is 27 years old, about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. She went missing on Nov. 13, and at that time Sheddy had blond, shoulder-length hair. Sheddy and her two young sons were staying with her mother at her Bowers Beach home. Sheddy told her mother she was going to Pocomoke to visit a couple she met through her boyfriend, who is the father of her children. Anyone with information about Sheddy should contact the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation or the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office. Those numbers – 410-352-3476 or 410-632-1111.

Sheddy left her Bowers Beach, Del. home on Nov. 13 with her two sons, ages two and four, in tow to visit a couple in Pocomoke she had met earlier through her boyfriend. Sheddy remained behind with her two sons at the Pocomoke residence while the couple went to pick up their own children at school.
When the couple returned, Sheddy was gone and her two boys were left home alone. Sheddy was supposed to have returned to her Bowers Beach residence on Nov. 17. She was reported missing, touching off a search throughout the county and beyond. According to reports, Sheddy’s two sons are now staying with their father.The couple is only known to me as “Tia and Junior”. Family and friends tell me Christine had only recently met “Tia and Junior”. I have also learned the couple has left the property where the disappearance happened and are living elsewhere in the area.
The girls mother Lynn Dodenhoff tells me her missing daughter will turn 27 years old Saturday. I have interviewed friends, and family and other acquaintances of Christine; no on has heard from her.

Wow, I went to the myspace accounts that are listed above. Talk about dark and scary, I am more concerned now for her safety than ever. I have been here for 7 years and have never seen this “Tia” (or whoever the girl is in the picture on “Tia’s” myspace account.

You would know Tia, and her boyfriend Junior, if you did illegal drugs, or were in and out of jail. They move from dilapidated trailer to dilapidated trailer on former chicken farms. The trailers they live in aren’t fit for rats and cockroaches, much less humans. Sad part is that children live with them.

On 01/09/2008 Tia Handy, 21 of Princess Anne Maryland was arrested for Driving On a Suspended License. She was issued citations and released.

I am worried for this girl. I can’t even say that I think that she is alive any more. Sometimes I think that there is a killer here and other times I think that sometimes a mother can be so stressed and if you add a drug problem, you could possilby walk away from your children and never come back. I’ve seen that happen before. We have at least 1 woman brutally beaten and murdered and this girl has been missing since November. Either the police dropped the ball and lost track of this young woman or she is in the woods somewhere like Judy was.

Christine didn’t have a drug problem. Her problem was her boyfriend/father of her boys. She met Junior and Tia through him.

That is what scares me. She is young and beautiful. Thank God she doesn’t have a drug problem but I would have a bunch of fingers pointing to those people she had spent the last several days with before she disappeared. A young woman just doesn’t up and walk away and leave her kids alone. They know where she is (either the police or the boyfriend or this couple). Now, they just have to get them to talk.

I have all the confidence in the world in these investigators, and do think these crimes will be solved. Christine didn’t just take off, we know something bad has happened to her. Hopefully some answers will come soon.

Something bad must have happened to Christine. She would never leave her children. She has missed Thanksgiving(she loved my cooking) Her birthaday12/22, christmas, her daughters birthday 1/3 my birthdy 1/6 and her youngest sons birthday, Zeke 1/7. She would have a fit if she knew those children were living at Joyces house. That woman let her son beat on christine. In one instance my daughter told me that Levi was beating her and Joyce walked up to them looked down at my daughter and said, She asked for it” and walked away. What kind of woman would let another woman get beat. Not much of one I say. I have been told by other girlfriends of the Hall boys, that they have met with similar situations with Joyce. They are willing to go to court and testify to those FACTS!!!!!!

Hopefully the Social Services can get involved until you find out where she is. I am sure that Detective McDermott is doing everything he can to get to the bottom of it. Someone here in this town knows what happened. Young mothers just don’t disappear without someone knowing where she went.

They are all losers and they need to give up their info?!?!?!?!?!? I don’t know how they (Jr., Tia, and Levi) haven’t “screwed up” yet!! Its just a matter of time. ~ Soon they will be in jail…because all i know, is that THEY know something..JR. and TIa being my first choice….for sure…..They know what happened. I think someone should send reporters or something to Jr. and Tia’s house for a “comment” about the case…see what they say…Im sure they dont have a lawyer to represent them yet, prob. just the public defenders that are assigned to them - since they are seasoned criminals - and they dont have anything to do with this.

I been keeping up on this story … My heart goes out to her children and family… Whats the update? Have they found her? If theres anything i can do here in California in happy to help.. A little input from me is…Everyone needs to stor pointing fingers and work together and find christine and bring her home… God bless

None of the pages really work the way they did before. Levi’s pics are set to private, and Christine’s too. I had a cousin that went missing years ago, so missing person cases always tear me up. I just hope that the family gets the closure they need soon, because the hardest part is the not knowing.

From my understanding Tia canceled her my space page. I set christines page to private as Outraged Richard was dragging my daughter through the mud. I would have done it sooner but I had to get clearance from the police. Its bad enough that we cant find my daughter and God only knows what happened to her. But to do battle with a complete stranger who had nothing better to do than exploit my daughter to get people to go to his website and read his warped views. You are right, the hardest part is not knowing.

Christine is my cousin. I love her with everything. She was the best person ever! Whoever could do something so wrong to her is just screwed up. I just want her back. I really need some closure like the rest of my family does. Exspecially her 3 children!
