If You Are Robbed You Don’t Have to Call Pocomoke PD
Apparently, very few people know this but if something happens to you, you can call any agency that you wish to help you.
It has been said that with the latest rash of robberies that ever since Dale Trotter left the Pocomoke Police force and moved on to the Worcester County Sheriffs office there is no longer any officers on the force who are trained in evidence gathering.
When our house was robbed, Trotter came over with his CSI kit and dusted all the obvious places with his fingerprint kit.
With all of the grants that Cheif is so good at getting, like $6000. for an Easter Egg hunt or $12,000. forĀ his back to school giveaway you would think that maybe he would see the need to really help the community by sticking to the reason for the police force and that would be fighting crime.
I bet the very people who have robbed these homes have been the recipients of backpacks and bicycles and Easter Eggs over the years, yet we don’t have a CSI kit and no one who knows how to work it on the force.
Get your priorities straight Pocomoke!

We’ve been robbed twice in 3 months. No fingerprinting was ever done. Both times they came in the back door—-this time kicking in the back door and busting right through the deadbolt. Of course, no on in this damn complex saw anything although they were home all day. Please—-you don’t not see someone leaving a building with 2 huge tvs and a bunch of guns and not think somethings funny, especially when they’re not the tenants!! Give me a break!! I’m tired of working hard for things and having jerks who don’t want to work for a living come in and steal what I worked hard for. The Pocomoke PD needs to get on the ball instead of spending time eating donuts and chatting up young girls!! In 3 months I’ve lost 2 tvs, 2 computers, guns, and other small items that could be grabbed up quickly. Who knows who this will happen to next time. I felt safer deadbolting my doors—-now I’m not feeling safe at all!!! It’s time to make a move—it’s a shame since I’ve been here in this town for over 35 years. Used to be a safe community where people looked out for one another. The mayor and city council need to get together with the PD and get something done about this!
