3View Search Services to Assist the People of Haiti
Co Founder of 3View Search Services, Mandy Albrighton announced Saturday at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival that 3View Search Services had been tapped and would be going to Haiti to assist in the recovery efforts.
You may remember hearing of 3View Search Services last year as they had offered their services to the mother of missing woman Christine Sheddy. They were referred to local police agency WCBI and formally offered their services to them but were never asked to assist.
3View Search Services in a strategic partnership with World Peace One and Arts For Humanity Global
will be using their state of the art equipment to find the missing and the dead in the island nation of Haiti.
The breakthrough technology that was developed by President of 3View, Sean Henady and will be critical in the rebuilding and stabilization of this devastated region.
As keynote speakers at this years 2010 Sundance Film Festival both Henady and Albrighton were able to share their work and technology with a group of humanitarians rarely gathered together in one place.
3View Search Services is a non-profit 501C3 organization that offers industry-leading, remote aerial monitoring and surveying for the commercial, industrial and agricultural industries. The tools and processes developed can and do provide significant assistance to Law Enforcement in their recovery efforts in Missing Persons Cases.
Core to 3View Search Services success is the use and development of drones and UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicles) that feature onboard computers and realtime image monitoring systems.
As stated by Sean Henady, President of 3View Search Services:
”With the remote-controlled equipment, you can cover so much territory in a little time and at a fraction of the cost of using a full-size plane or helicopter.
And it’s not like we’re just flying over an area, hoping to see something.
We’re capturing high-quality images that we can review from the ground and then study more in-depth later.”
Kudo’s to 3View and their efforts in Haiti, and to the organizations that have partnered with them.
Deployment is scheduled for next week.
